First Post!

So this is my first post for my adventure to Costa Rica.  I am leaving Massachusetts tomorrow, stopping in Miami for the night with my wonderful great Aunt, and then heading to Costa Rica on Saturday where I will meet my host family at the airport!

There has been a lot of preparation that I had to do for this trip:

  • Typhoid Vaccine- a month ago
  • Rabies Vaccine- a series of 3 shots over the month (good news though, this vaccine lasts a life time so I won't have to it done again when I become a vet)
  • Getting my insurance to fill my prescription for 4 months- neither CVS or Harvard Pilgrim where helpful, but it all worked out eventually
  • And of course packing, but I got help for that one:

and now I'm all DONE!


I am ready to leave the cold dreary New England for sunny warm Costa Rica!

    trading cold and dreary for warm and sunny...how does that work again? have a great time and thanx for sharing the blogspot....at least i'll get to have virtual warm and sunny. love ya, julie
